Sheriff Troyer today announced the 34th Annual Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Youth Leadership Camp.   The Sheriffs Youth Leadership camp is a program provided by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association for boys and girls who have completed the seventh (7th) or eighth (8th) grade of school.

The camp provides a very meaningful experience and relationship with other campers
from throughout the state, and a chance for the students to see the duties done by law
enforcement officers.

The annual Indiana Sheriffs Youth Leadership Camp will be held June 11-14 at Pine Creek Camp in Pine Village, Indiana (Warren County).    Transportation to and from the camp will be provided by Steuben County Sheriff’s officers.

Any boy or girl in the seventh (7th) or eighth (8th) grade of the school interested in attending the camp should contact their school counselor or the Steuben County Sheriff’s office for application for the camp.  Arrangement will be made for assistance in paying for the camp so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful experience at the Sheriff’s Youth Leadership camp.

Application available here (click link)

Any question please contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s department at 260-668-1000 ext 5000 for Deputy Bill Lanoue.
